Super thoughtful birthday gift from @expede and Katie to me.
From top right clockwise:
- kalamansi (an orange lime citrus that is common in the Philippines)
- tamarind pods
- Spanish saffron
- finger limes
- Kafir limes
I opened a couple of kalamansi and squeezed them into some soda water which was tasty.
I need to do some research for what to do with the rest. I don’t think I’ve ever used “real” saffron for instance.
