Maple Bread Pudding

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 slices egg bread or brioche, cut into cubes

It turns out bread pudding is incredibly simple!

I used skim milk powder to make the cup of milk and only put in about half a cup of maple syrup, and added 2 Tbsp cane sugar.

I also had a soft banana in the freezer that I cut up with the butter that I microwaved and then mashed together.

Also added 1/2 cup of dried cranberries.

I used an 8” square glass Pyrex baking dish that I liked, and covered tightly with aluminum foil. I placed it in a big roasting pan and poured boiling water around it from the kettle and cooked at 350F for an hour.

This was to use the bread shards that stuck to the pot.
